Privacy Policy

AlgoFit collects and processes data to deliver personalized AI training programs, smart nutrition menus, and progress insights. We do not sell your data — full stop. This page is a plain-English summary; the sections below are the detail.

1. What we collect

• Account: name, email address, age (optional)
• Profile: fitness goals, training level and preferences, height and weight when you enter them
• Activity: workouts recorded through the app, measurements you enter, weekly check-in answers
• Nutrition: menus, meals and food logs you create
• Photos and documents: only the training-program photos or PDFs you choose to import
• Purchases: subscription status and receipts, processed by Apple / Google and RevenueCat
• Device: OS version, app version, device type, crash and performance reports
• Health app data (Apple Health on iOS, Health Connect on Android): steps, sleep, water, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, workouts, active energy and distance — only after you grant permission per category. AlgoFit only reads; it never writes to your health app. We never read your date of birth, weight or height from it.

2. How we use it

• Generate AI training programs tuned to you
• Build smart nutrition menus with macro tracking
• Compute weekly retuning suggestions from your check-ins
• Show daily activity and recovery from your health data, for you alone
• Sync your data across your devices
• Show you progress insights (volume, PRs, balance)
• Send notifications you can switch off in Settings

Health data is used solely to improve your own health and fitness management. It is never used for advertising, marketing, or sold or disclosed to data brokers.

3. Who we share with

We do not share your data with advertisers, social platforms, data brokers, or any third party for marketing. We do share with:

• Cloud hosting providers (data encrypted at rest and in transit)
• Analytics providers — anonymized interaction events only (see section 4)
• AI model providers that generate your coaching, programs and menus — they receive your training, nutrition and check-in data, never your name, email or health-app readings
• Payment processors (Apple, Google, RevenueCat) — subscription metadata only
• Authorities — only when legally required

4. Usage analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which parts of AlgoFit people use, so we can improve them. We record interaction events — which screen you opened, which button you pressed, whether a step succeeded or failed — together with an account identifier, your app version, and your device type.

We never send your health data. No weight, no calories, no macronutrients, no workout volume, no measurement of any kind leaves the app through analytics. We do not send your name or email address, and we do not collect advertising identifiers or share data with Google's advertising products. AlgoFit does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share usage data.

5. Security

All data in transit uses HTTPS. Sensitive data is encrypted at rest. Health data stays on your device unless you explicitly grant access. We run regular security reviews.

6. Your rights

• Access — view all data we hold on you
• Export — download your data in JSON
• Correct — update anything inaccurate
• Delete — remove your account and all associated data from inside the app (Settings → Security → Delete account). Deleting also revokes your Sign in with Apple authorization and removes your subscription record.
• GDPR / CCPA rights honored regardless of region

7. Retention

Active accounts: we retain data while the account is active. Deleted accounts: we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where legally required to retain billing records.

8. Children

AlgoFit is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We will post updates to this policy here and note the date above. Material changes are also announced in the app.
